If you want to include the TurnKey bootsplash and bootmenu, extract the cdroot from a TurnKey ISO and tell tklpatch-prepare-cdroot to use it as a template. It's not a good idea when some unknown person posts an edited version of a closed source app that deals with PS3's IDPS's and other sensitive per console/user data, it could have been patched or had a little added something extra that would transmit that data over the internet which is not something the average user would think to check for, and the fact that the app causes a false positive from AV software in the first place, caused by said file that needed to be replaced > pkgripper.exe, so even AV and malware software would have been useless as your most likely going to think it's just another false positive like the first one.Īnyways rudi has removed that app, PSN Liberator, from being able to be downloaded and I think it's a good to also remove this unofficial build of it from the thread as well if it's still there, I cannot remember if a mod removed the DL link when it was posted in the first place, it might have been. Wasn't a build at all, all he needed to do is say that it need to be replaced and point people to where they could get it and what to do, not post the entire app again with ONE file replaced is pointless and made it look like he built it himself when he did not and couldn't as its a closed source app. Click to expand.It was PSN Liberator and all he did was replace PKG Ripper.exe with the updated bug fix one.
